MarineMax Purchases Bahia Mar Marina in Pensacola

MarineMax, the nation’s largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, has acquired the Bahia Mar Marina in Pensacola, Fla. Located on the Bayou Chico Channel, Bahia Mar Marina is a full-service marina with a 50-ton boat lift, working boatyard, large dry storage and on-site facilities for fiberglass, paint and bottom work. This facility also has covered and open wet slips, as well as a ship’s store. Other amenities include laundry, showers, restrooms, and a fuel dock offering non-Ethanol gas, diesel, and pump-out services. Bahia Mar Marina is also home to one of Pensacola’s most popular waterfront restaurants, The Oar House.

MarineMax has been a proud member of the Pensacola community for 13 years and with this acquisition will be relocating the sales and service operations on Airport Boulevard to this new waterfront facility, where they’ll combine all operations at one waterfront facility.

MarineMax Pensacola at Bahia Mar Marina is equipped to provide a variety of services for most vessels. Open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with extended hours in the summer, the facility will continue to provide the excellent service that boat owners and guests have come to expect.
