First Larson-Built Gekko Boat Rolls Out

Today marks the first Larson Boat Group (LBG) built Gekko Sports Revo 6.7 boat to roll out off its dedicated production line ready for delivery. Back on July 16, Larson Boat Group of Little Falls, Minn., and Gekko Sports of Shakopee, Minn., announced a partnership in which LBG would build Gekko’s four towboat models.

Mark Overbye, founder and president of Gekko said, “The first boat looks great! We are excited and look forward to what is to come.” Overbye went on to say, “Our partnership is working out great. Everyone in Little Falls has helped and supported us the entire way to get to this point to make sure the boats are of the highest quality and built to the expectations of Gekko owners and dealers.”

“It is a great day for the team of boat builders in Little Falls,” said Rob Parmentier, Larson Boat Group president and chief executive officer. Parmentier continued by saying, “We look forward to a long and successful, win-win partnership with Gekko and know this will be a homerun for both companies.”
